Editorial Use definition

Editorial Use means the use of the Licensed Material in connection with events that are newsworthy or of general interest. The use shall be within the context of editorial or journalistic print and online articles, i.e. text-based publications and contributions which use the Licensed Material to explain and/or illustrate their respective content, or to use the Licensed Material to disseminate information.
Editorial Use means use relating to events, information, commentary and analyses that are newsworthy, a matter of public concern or of general interest to the public; provided that “Editorial Use” does not include any commercial, promotional, advertorial, endorsement, advertising or merchandising use, or any other use that would violate any person’s right of publicity or privacy under applicable law, absent such person’s consent.
Editorial Use means: (i) use in blogs; (ii) use for editorial purposes in magazines, newspapers, and newsletters, but specifically not in advertorials which include brand or product names or where a fee is received from a third-party advertiser or sponsor; (iii) non commercial use relating to events that are newsworthy or of general interest.

Editorial Use means where Accepted Content is used to illustrate a matter of general interest (such as a current event, history, sports, entertainment, art, science, religion or politics), in any medium, and is not used to advertise, endorse or promote a person, organization, product or service (other than the publication or medium in which the Accepted Content appears as part of such a use).
Editorial Use means the one-time use of Content for artistic, editorial, factual, educational, news, informational and/or historical purposes, in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity. Editorial Use specifically excludes any and all commercial, promotional, advertorial, endorsement, advertising or merchandising uses other than incidental in-context promotional use.
