Effective Flexible Capacity definition

Effective Flexible Capacity or “EFC” means, for Projects providing Capacity Attributes, the effective flexible capacity (in MWs) of the Generating Facility, as applicable, under the Resource Adequacy Rulings and CAISO Tariff, in each case to the extent applicable, and which such effective flexible capacity may satisfy a load-serving entity’s Flexible RAR.
Effective Flexible Capacity means the flexible capacity of a resource that can be counted towards an LSE’s FCR obligation, as identified from time to time by the Tariff, the CPUC Decisions, LRA, or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction.
Effective Flexible Capacity or “EFC” has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

Examples of Effective Flexible Capacity in a sentence

  • At least ninety (90) days before the annual FCR Showings filing deadline, Seller shall provide Buyer with written Notice of the quantity of Effective Flexible Capacity the Facility is expected to provide for the following calendar year.

  • No later than the Notification Deadline for each Showing Month of the Delivery Term, Seller shall notify Buyer of the quantity of Effective Flexible Capacity that the Project Participants are permitted to include in the FCR Showings.

  • Seller shall submit a request to the CAISO to certify the full Effective Flexible Capacity (as such term is defined in the CAISO Tariff) of the Project as Flexible Capacity Category 1.


More Definitions of Effective Flexible Capacity

Effective Flexible Capacity means the flexible capacity of a Unit that can be counted toward an LSE’s Flexible RAR obligation, as identified from time to time by the Tariff, the CPUC Decisions, LRA or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction.
Effective Flexible Capacity means the net capacity of a Resource Adequacy Resource that can be counted towards Flexible Capacity Requirements, as identified from time to time by the ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, the Resource Adequacy Rulings, or by any other Governmental Authority having jurisdiction.
Effective Flexible Capacity has the meaning given in CAISO’s FERC-approved Tariff.

The above notwithstanding, to the extent the CPUC Decisions, CAISO, LRA or other Governmental Body having jurisdiction reduces the applicable EFC of a Unit, the EFC of a Unit may be reduced pursuant to Section 4.4 of this Confirmation.
