ELECTRIC APPARATUS definition

ELECTRIC APPARATUS means any condenser, conductor, transformer, adapter, electrical generator, electrical appliance or any article through which or by means of which electricity is carried, consumed or created.
ELECTRIC APPARATUS means all apparatus, machines and fittings in which conductors are used, or of which they form a part; (44A) “explosion protected apparatus” means any apparatus designed for use in a hazardous area and includes flameproof apparatus, intrinsically safe apparatus and increased safety apparatus;[“explosion protected apparatus” ins by reg 2(e) of GeN 160 in G. 13002.]

  • Control apparatus means any device which prevents or controls the emission of any air contaminant directly or indirectly into the outdoor atmosphere.

  • Apparatus means electrical apparatus and includes all machines, fittings, accessories and appliances in which conductors are used;

  • Systems means servers, hardware systems, databases, circuits, networks and other computer and telecommunications assets and equipment.

  • Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Participating Transmission Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if connecting to a part of the Participating TO’s electric system that is not part of the CAISO Grid.

  • Electric System means all electrical wires, equipment, and other facilities owned or provided by the utility that are used to transmit electricity to customers.

  • alternative apparatus means alternative apparatus adequate to enable the utility undertaker in question to fulfil its statutory functions in a manner not less efficient than previously;

  • Bulk Electric System shall have the meaning provided for in the NERC Glossary of Terms used in Reliability Standards, as it may be amended, supplemented, or restated from time to time.

  • electric line means any line which is used for carrying electricity for any purpose and includes:

  • Electric Facility means a Generator or an electric transmission facility.

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.

  • Electric generation service means the provision of retail

  • energy infrastructure means any physical equipment or facility which is located within the Union or linking the Union to one or more third countries and falling under the following categories:

  • Electric utility means a consumer-owned utility or

  • Devices means any and all devices owned or purchased from time to time by Party A and utilized for the purposes of the provision of the Services.

  • Electric Service means the furnishing of electric power and energy for lighting, heating, power, or any other purpose for which electric power and energy can be used;

  • Electrical circuit means an assembly of connected live parts which is designed to be electrically energized in normal operation.

  • Electric cooperative means an electric utility provider formed or organized as an electric cooperative under the laws of this state or elsewhere. An electric cooperative shall also include an incorporated city utility provider. “Generation and transmission electric cooperative” means an electric cooperative which owns both transmission lines and property which is used to generate electricity. “Distribution electric cooperative” means an electric cooperative other than a generation and transmission electric cooperative or a municipal electric cooperative association.

  • Sewerage system means pipelines or conduits, pumping stations, and force mains, and all other

  • Electric supplier means an entity or person certified by the Commission, including municipal corporations which choose to provide electricity outside their municipal limits (except to the extent provided prior to February 1, 1999), Broker, Marketer or other entity (including public utilities and their affiliates, e.g., Delmarva), that sells electricity to Retail Electric Customers, utilizing the Transmission and Distribution Facilities of an Electric Distribution Company.

  • Electrical equipment means underground equipment that contains dielectric fluid that is necessary for the operation of equipment such as transformers and buried electrical cable.

  • Equipment is all “equipment” as defined in the Code with such additions to such term as may hereafter be made, and includes without limitation all machinery, fixtures, goods, vehicles (including motor vehicles and trailers), and any interest in any of the foregoing.

  • Semiconductor equipment means (i) machinery or tools or repair parts or replacements thereof; (ii)

  • Systems Engineering means preparing specifications, identifying and resolving interface problems, developing test requirements, evaluating test data, and supervising design.

  • Electric generating unit means an individual electric generator and its associated plant and apparatus whose electrical output is capable of being separately identified and metered. Emergency Condition shall mean a condition or situation: (1) that in the judgment of the Party making the claim is imminently likely to endanger life or property; or (2) that, in the case of the CAISO, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the CAISO Controlled Grid or the electric systems of others to which the CAISO Controlled Grid is directly connected; (3) that, in the case of the Participating TO, is imminently likely (as determined in a non-discriminatory manner) to cause a material adverse effect on the security of, or damage to, the Participating TO’s Transmission System, Participating TO’s Interconnection Facilities, Distribution System, or the electric systems of others to which the Participating TO’s electric system is directly connected; or
