Elevator System definition

Elevator System means the elevator system serving the Condominium Buildings (and the components thereof, including service equipment and any smoke detectors in elevator lobby areas which are not connected to the fire safety systems maintained by the Board).

  • Landlord's Work" shall include and be limited to the construction, purchase and/or installation of an upgraded Building elevator system ("Elevator System") to service the Premises which shall be capable of servicing each of the Building floors fully occupied by Tenant and shall provide for restricted access to such floor by card key, key pad or other access control system mutually acceptable to Landlord and Tenant.

  • Landlord shall be responsible only for installing the upgraded Elevator System to the Build-Out Spaces.

  • Elevator contractor means a sole proprietor, firm, or corporation licensed under this chapter that is engaged in the business of erecting, constructing, installing, altering, servicing, repairing, or maintaining an elevator.

  • Elevator means any hoisting or lowering device to connect floors or landings, whether or not in service, and all appliances pertaining to the elevator, including any car, platform, shaft, hoistway, stairway, runway, power equipment and machinery; THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE: a. an automobile servicing hoist; b. a hoist without a platform outside a building if without mechanical power or if it is not attached to building walls; c. a hod or material hoist used in alteration, construction or demolition operations; d. an inclined conveyor used exclusively for carrying property; or e. a dumbwaiter used exclusively for carrying property and having a compartment height not exceeding four feet.

  • Contractor System means the information and communications technology system used by the Contractor in performing the Services including the Software, the Contractor Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Authority System).

  • Sewer System means pipelines or conduits, pumping stations, force mains, vehicles, vessels, conveyances, injection wells, and all other constructions, devices, and appliances appurtenant thereto used for conducting sewage or industrial waste or other wastes to a point of ultimate disposal or disposal to any water of the state. To the extent that they are not subject to section 402 of the federal Water Pollution Control Act, ditches, pipes, and drains that serve only to collect, channel, direct, and convey nonpoint runoff from precipitation are not considered as sewer systems for the purposes of this part of this division.

  • HVAC System is defined in Section 6.10(a)(v).
