Emergency Care means management for a severe illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a medical practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the insured person’s health.
Emergency medical care means such medical procedures as:
Emergency services means police, fire, ambulance, rescue, and medical services.
Emergency repair means work necessary to prevent destruction or dilapidation to real property or structural appurtenances thereto immediately threatened or damaged by fire, flood, earthquake or other disaster.
Emergency Repairs means repairs to a utility facility located in or adjacent to a primary city street that must be performed immediately when the necessity arises to safeguard life or property or maintain continued operation of the facility.
Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.
Emergency Energy means energy supplied from Operating Reserve or electrical generation available for sale in New York or PJM or available from another Balancing Authority Area. Emergency Energy may be provided in cases of sudden and unforeseen outages of generating units, transmission lines or other equipment, or to meet other sudden and unforeseen circumstances such as forecast errors, or to provide sufficient Operating Reserve. Emergency Energy is provided pursuant to this Agreement and the Inter Control Area Transactions Agreement dated May 1, 2000 and priced according to Section 35.6.4 of this Agreement and said Inter Control Area Transactions Agreement.
Emergency Service If you are unable to reach Administrator at 877.634.0964 and you require emergency repair, you may contact any manufacturer authorized service repair facility listed in your phone book or online. Mail Administrator your original repair bill along with the technician’s report and a copy of the Agreement to the address at the top of this Agreement for reimbursement. All coverage and exclusions in this Agreement will apply. Wisconsin: ARBITRATION section of this Agreement is removed. CANCELLATION section is amended as follows: If We cancel this Agreement, We will provide written notice of cancellation, including the effective date of the cancellation and the actual reason for the cancellation, to the last known mailing address at least five (5) days prior to the effective date of the cancellation. Claims paid or the cost of repairs performed shall not be deducted from the amount to be refunded upon cancellation of this Agreement. THIS CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO LIMITED REGULATION BY THE OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE. If You cancel within thirty (30) days of receipt of Your Agreement, You must first return to the Selling Retailer or to the Obligor should the Selling Retailer not be available. Proof of loss should be furnished by You to the Administrator as soon as reasonably possible and within one (1) year after the time required by this Agreement. Failure to furnish such notice or proof within the time required by this Agreement does not invalidate or reduce a claim. A ten percent (10%) penalty per month shall be applied to refunds not paid or credited within forty-five (45) days of receipt of returned Service Agreement. If Administrator fails to provide, or reimburse or pay for, a service that is covered under this Agreement within sixty-one (61) days after You provide proof of loss, or if the Administrator becomes insolvent or otherwise financially impaired, You may file a claim directly with the Insurer for reimbursement, payment, or provision of the service. If Your cancellation request is made more than thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, You will receive a pro-rata refund of the Agreement purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any), and less an administrative fee to not exceed $50.00 or ten percent (10%) of the purchase price whichever is less.
Emergency management means lessening the effects of, preparations for, operations during, and recovery from natural, technological or human-caused disasters. These actions are broad in scope and include, but are not limited to: disaster plans, mitigation, preparedness, response, warning, emergency operations, training, exercising, research, rehabilitation, and recovery activities.
Emergency Situation means a situation in which an individual is experiencing a serious mental illness or a developmental disability, or a minor is experiencing a serious emotional disturbance, and 1 of the following applies:
Emergency vehicle means emergency vehicles of municipal, township or county departments or public utility corporations when identified as such as required by law, the Ohio Director of Public Safety or local authorities, and motor vehicles when commandeered by a police officer. (ORC 4511.01(D))
Emergency Works means any urgent measures which in the opinion of the Engineer-in- Charge, become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure which become necessary for security.

Emergency Medical Transportation means the transportation, by ambulance, of sick, injured or otherwise incapacitated persons who require emergency medical care.
Emergency medical care provider means an individual who has been trained to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the first responder, EMT-basic, EMT-intermediate, EMT-paramedic, paramedic specialist or other certification levels recognized by the department before 1984 and who has been issued a certificate by the department.
Emergency medical condition means a medical condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) that a prudent layperson, who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine, could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in the following:
Emergency call means a telephone request or text message request for service which requires immediate action to prevent loss of life, reduce bodily injury, prevent or reduce loss of property and respond to other emergency situations determined by local policy.
