Escape lighting definition

Escape lighting. (safety lighting) means lighting, obtained from a source independent of the general supply for the building, provided to assist the public and staff to leave the premises without the aid of normal lighting.
Escape lighting. - means lighting obtained from a source independent of the normal supply for the building or site provided to assist the public, performers and staff to leave the premises in the event of a failure of the normal lighting.
