Evening Shift Hours definition

Evening Shift Hours means any hours between 8.00 p.m. and 12 midnight.
Evening Shift Hours. (Second Shift) Eight (8) hour work period established pursuant to Article IV, Section 4 (b) (except on jobs worked under Art. IV, Sec. 6).

Examples of Evening Shift Hours in a sentence

  • Hours worked in excess of Evening Shift Hours instead receive overtime pay computed in accordance with Clause (e) for work.

  • All hours, before or after, or in excess of, Evening Shift Hours or Night Shift Hours that are worked on Monday through Friday shall be paid for at one and one-half (1 ½) times the Employee’s Straight Time Rate.

  • All hours, before or after, or in excess of, Evening Shift Hours or Night Shift Hours that are worked on Monday through Friday shall be paid for at one and one half times (1 ½ ) the Employee’s Straight Time Rate plus the applicable per hour shift additive.

  • The Evening Shift shall consist of eight (8) hours of work (“Evening Shift Hours”) beginning at any time between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. which shall be paid for at the regular Straight Time Rate, plus a $2.00 per hour shift additive, plus overtime pay computed in accordance with Clause (h) for work in excess of Evening Shift Hours, subject to Clause (e) below for Evening Shifts including a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday.

  • The Evening Shift shall consist of seven and one-half (7 ½) hours of work (“Evening Shift Hours”) beginning at any time between 3:00 P.M. and 4:30 P.M., which shall be paid for at eight (8) times the Employee’s Straight Time Rate, plus overtime pay computed in accordance with Clause (h) for work in excess of Evening Shift Hours.

Related to Evening Shift Hours

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator. Must include at least one hour during the morning commute hours and one during evening commute hours, Monday through Friday. Each Peak Period cannot be longer than three hours.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.

  • Hours means sequential sixty (60) minute time frames.

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • Core Hours means the period beginning at 8am and ending at 6.30pm on any day from Monday to Friday except Good Friday, Christmas Day or bank holidays;
