Financial assurance means a commitment of funds or resources by an operator to a regulatory authority that satisfies the requirements in s. 14 and is sufficient to pay for reclamation activities required by this chapter.
Financial Assurances means the financial assurances provided by the Shipper and accepted by the Carrier in accordance with Rule 21.
Financial aid means loans and/or grants to needy students
Provider of financial assurance means an entity that provides financial assurance to an Owner or Operator of an underground storage tank through one of the mechanisms listed in these Regulations, including a guarantor, insurer, risk retention group, surety, issuer of a letter of credit, issuer of a state required mechanism, or a state.
Financial Instruments Accounts Act means the Swedish Financial Instruments Accounts Act (lag (1998:1479) om kontoföring av finansiella instrument).
Performance Assurance means collateral in the form of cash or letters of credit, or other security acceptable to the requesting Party.
Insurance Amount has the meaning set forth in Section 6.12(b).
Principal Protection Amount means an amount per ETP Security, in respect of each Tranche of ETP Securities, corresponding to 2.00 per cent of the Principal Amount for the ETP Security of such Tranche.
Financial Account means an account maintained by a Financial Institution, and includes:
(1) in the case of an Entity that is a Financial Institution solely because it is an Investment Entity, any equity or debt interest (other than interests that are regularly traded on an established securities market) in the Financial Institution;
(2) in the case of a Financial Institution not described in subparagraph 1(q)(1) of this Article, any equity or debt interest in the Financial Institution (other than interests that are regularly traded on an established securities market), if (i) the value of the debt or equity interest is determined, directly or indirectly, primarily by reference to assets that give rise to U.S. Source Withholdable Payments, and (ii) the class of interests was established with a purpose of avoiding reporting in accordance with this Agreement; and
(3) any Cash Value Insurance Contract and any Annuity Contract issued or maintained by a Financial Institution, other than a noninvestment- linked, nontransferable immediate life annuity that is issued to an individual and monetizes a pension or disability benefit provided under an account that is excluded from the definition of Financial Account in Annex II. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the term “Financial Account” does not include any account that is excluded from the definition of Financial Account in Annex II. For purposes of this Agreement, interests are “regularly traded” if there is a meaningful volume of trading with respect to the interests on an ongoing basis, and an “established securities market” means an exchange that is officially recognized and supervised by a governmental authority in which the market is located and that has a meaningful annual value of shares traded on the exchange. For purposes of this subparagraph 1(q), an interest in a Financial Institution is not “regularly traded” and shall be treated as a Financial Account if the holder of the interest (other than a Financial Institution acting as an intermediary) is registered on the books of such Financial Institution. The preceding sentence will not apply to interests first registered on the books of such Financial Institution prior to July 1, 2014, and with respect to interests first registered on the books of such Financial Institution on or after July 1, 2014, a Financial Institution is not required to apply the preceding sentence prior to January 1, 2016.
Close financial association means an association in which the person filing shares significant financial involvement with an individual and the filer would reasonably be expected to be aware of the individual's business activities and would have access to the necessary records either directly or through the individual. "Close financial association" does not mean an association based on (i) the receipt of retirement benefits or deferred compensation from a business by which the person filing this statement is no longer employed, or (ii) the receipt of compensation for work performed by the person filing as an independent contractor of a business that represents an entity before any state governmental agency when the person filing has no communications with the state governmental agency.
Financial Asset The meaning specified in Section 8-102(a)(9) of the UCC.
Insurance Add-On Amount means the premium charged to the Obligor in the event that the Servicer obtains Force-Placed Insurance pursuant to Section 4.4.
Financial Assistance Agreement means the Financial Assistance Agreement by and between the State of Wisconsin by the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Administration and the Municipality pursuant to which the Bonds are to be issued and sold to the State, substantially in the form attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference;
High Quality Short-Term Debt Instrument means any instrument having a maturity at issuance of less than 366 days and which is rated in one of the highest two rating categories by a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Agency (Moody’s and S&P).
High Quality Short-Term Debt Instruments means any instrument that has a maturity at issuance of less that 366 days and that is rated in one of the two highest rating categories by a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization.
Reporting Financial Institution means a Reporting Finnish Financial Institution or a Reporting U.S. Financial Institution, as the context requires.
Specified Insurance Company means any Entity that is an insurance company (or the holding company of an insurance company) that issues, or is obligated to make payments with respect to, a Cash Value Insurance Contract or an Annuity Contract.
Federal financial assistance means any grant, loan, contract (other than a procurement contract or a contract of insurance or guaranty), or any other arrangement by which the Department provides or otherwise makes available assistance in the form of:
Investment Property Control Agreement means an agreement in writing, in form and substance satisfactory to Agent, by and among Agent, any Borrower or Guarantor (as the case may be) and any securities intermediary, commodity intermediary or other person who has custody, control or possession of any investment property of such Borrower or Guarantor acknowledging that such securities intermediary, commodity intermediary or other person has custody, control or possession of such investment property on behalf of Agent, that it will comply with entitlement orders originated by Agent with respect to such investment property, or other instructions of Agent, and has such other terms and conditions as Agent may require.

Non-Reporting Financial Institution means any Financial Institution that is:
financial assets means (i) cash, (ii) securities, or (iii) a contract of insurance, a deposit or an evidence of a deposit that is not a security for the purposes of securities legislation;

Financial Instruments means commodities, securities, and derivatives of all types, including, without limitation, stocks and other equity instruments, bonds and other debt instruments, commodities and futures, forwards, swaps, and options that derive their value from bonds, equities, commodities or indices thereof.
Short-Term Money Market Instruments means the following types of instruments if, on the date of purchase or other acquisition thereof by the Corporation, the remaining term to maturity thereof is not in excess of 180 days:
