Firefighter II definition

Firefighter II means an employee who has completed TWENTY-FOUR (24) months as a full-time Firefighter.
Firefighter II. The minimum requirement for a firefighter is certification as a professional firefighter in the State of Ohio within one (1) year of employment date. Failure to become certified in the absence of extenuating circumstances, as determined by the Employer, within the required period shall result in termination.

  • Firefighter means any regular, paid or volunteer, member of a lawfully constituted fire department of a municipal corporation, township, fire district, or village.
