Firming Water definition

Firming Water means water available for Firming a Long-Term Contract, as identified in Section 8 of this Agreement.

Examples of Firming Water in a sentence

  • Water transported under this Contract that is Firming Water shall bear no losses.

  • Except for any volume of water transported under this Contract that is Firming Water, as that term is defined in the CAP System Use Agreement, the [Entity] shall be assessed uniform losses of five percent (5%) against all Wheeled Water transported through the CAP System under this Contract such that the amount of Wheeled Water delivered at Point(s) of Delivery under this Contract will be five percent (5%) less than the amount of Wheeled Water entering the CAP System at the Point(s) of Receipt.

Related to Firming Water

  • Cooling Water means the water discharged from any use such as air conditioning, cooling or refrigeration, or to which the only pollutant added is heat.

  • inland waters means the navigable waters of the United States shoreward of the navigational demarcation lines dividing the high seas from harbors, rivers, and other inland waters of the United States and the waters of the Great Lakes on the United States side of the International Boundary;

  • Auxiliary Water Supply means any water supply on or available to the premises other than the water purveyor's approved public water supply such as, but not limited to, a private well, pond or river.

  • Boiler means an enclosed fossil or other fuel-fired combustion device used to produce heat and to transfer heat to recirculating water, steam, or other medium.

  • Fresh water means water, such as tap water, that has not been previously used in a process operation or, if the water has been recycled from a process operation, it has been treated and meets the effluent guidelines for chromium wastewater.

  • Storm water means storm water runoff, snow melt runoff, and surface runoff and drainage.

  • Receiving water means any lake, river, stream or wetland that receives stormwater discharges from an MS4.

  • Receiving waters means the waters of the state into which point and non-point sources flow.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per million.

  • Gray water means sewage from bathtubs, showers, bathroom sinks, washing machines, dishwashers, and kitchen sinks. It includes sewage from any source in a residence or structure that has not come into contact with toilet wastes.

  • Navigable waters ’ means the waters of the United States, including the territorial sea;

  • Ground water means water below the land surface in a zone of saturation.

  • Boiler Fuel means natural gas used as fuel for the generation of steam and in internal combustion turbine engines for the generations of electricity.

A public water supply is either a "community water supply" or a "non-community water supply".
