Former Class definition

Former Class. A class in which an employee previously has held permanent status. An employee may have one (1) or more former classes. However, only those classes in which the employee has held permanent status during the current period of continuous service are eligible former classes in respect to a right to demote.

Examples of Former Class in a sentence

  • If at any time during the effectiveness of the Shelf Registration, it is determined by the Former Class A Stockholders that an underwritten offering would be advisable, then the Former Class A Stockholders holding a majority of the Registrable Shares shall select the institution or institutions that shall manage or lead such offering.
