Funding Increase. 1. The Commonwealth shall notify the Grantee in writing of any funding increases under this Agreement. 2. Upon receipt of this notice the Grantee shall revise and submit to the Commonwealth a revised Program Summary Budget and if necessary, any revised pages of the Narrative which shall reflect the increase of funds. 3. Funding Increase. 25.3.1 Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 25.1 and Article 25.2 above, this Collective Agreement may be opened for the negotiation of benefits and/or salary in the event the funding agent grants an increase in funding for salary, relief and/or benefits to the Employer. B.6.4 For greater certainty, Schedule E will apply to any funding increase provided under B.6.1 b).

The Employer has also indicated that additional funding may be coming, when it is received and understood the Employer shall contact the Union to discuss further wage enhancements as per the language in Appendix “A”. All employees shall receive full retroactive pay to April 1, 2023, for all hours worked and/or paid. Retroactive pay shall be paid to all employees within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of signing this Letter of Understanding (▇▇▇). Retroactive pay shall be issued to each employee in the bargaining unit on paycheques that are separate and apart from their normal earnings. Appendix “A” of the Collective Agreement shall be amended with the new wage scale as outlined above immediately following signing of this ▇▇▇. Where there is a conflict between the Collective Agreement and this Letter of Understanding, this Letter of Understanding shall apply.
