Reid vapor pressure means the vapor pressure of crude oil or other volatile petroleum products at 100 degrees Fahrenheit as determined by the latest edition of ASTM D6377 (RVPE): Standard Test Method for Determination of Vapor Pressure of Crude Oil.
Pressure means relative pressure versus atmospheric pressure, unless otherwise stated.
Vapor pressure as herein used means Vapor Pressure at 100° Fahrenheit as determined by ASTM Method D-323-90, "Standard Method of Test for Vapor Pressure of Petroleum Products (Reid Method)."
True vapor pressure means the equilibrium partial pressure exerted by a petroleum liquid as determined in accordance with methods described in American Petroleum Institute (API) Bulletin 2517, Evaporation Loss from External Floating Roof Tanks, 1980. The API procedure may not be applicable to some high viscosity or high pour crudes. Available estimates of true vapor pressure may be used in special cases such as these.
Oil means petroleum in any form including crude oil, fuel oil, sludge, oil refuse and refined products (other than petrochemicals which are subject to the provisions of Annex II of the present Convention) and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes the substances listed in Appendix I to this Annex.
Operating pressure means the pressure at which the parts of an irrigation system are designed by the manufacturer to operate.
Gas well means a well producing gas or natural gas from a common source of gas supply as determined by the commission.
Working pressure means pressure, in a working chamber, to which building worker is exposed;
Carbon dioxide or “CO2” means the most common of the six primary greenhouse gases, consisting on a molecular level of a single carbon atom and two oxygen atoms.
Hydrocarbons means oil, gas, casinghead gas, drip gasoline, natural gasoline, condensate, distillate, liquid hydrocarbons, gaseous hydrocarbons and all products refined or separated therefrom.
Pressure vessel means a vessel that may be used for containing, storing, distributing, transferring, distilling, processing or otherwise handling any gas, vapour or liquid under pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure and includes any pipeline fitting or other equipment attached thereto or used in connection therewith; and
Natural Gas Liquids means those hydrocarbon components that can be recovered from natural gas as a liquid including, but not limited to, ethane, propane, butanes, pentanes plus, and condensates;
CO2 means carbon dioxide.
Gas means any mixture of hydrocarbons and noncombustible gases in a gaseous state consisting primarily of methane.
Total hydrocarbons (THC) means the sum of all volatile compounds measurable by a flame ionization detector (FID).
Hydrocarbon means a compound consisting of hydrogen and carbon, which, when naturally occurring, may also contain other elements such as sulphur;
LNG means liquefied natural gas.
Ethanol means a high octane gasoline blend stock that is used to make various grades of gasoline.
Low water pressure means water pressure below the regulatory reference level which is the minimum pressure when demand on the system is not abnormal.
Condensate means hydrocarbon liquid separated from natural gas which condenses due to changes in the temperature or pressure and remains liquid at standard conditions.
tons means the gross tonnage calculated in accordance with the tonnage measurement regulations contained in Annex I of the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969; the word “tonnage” shall be construed accordingly.
Feedstock Gas means natural gas used as a raw material for its chemical properties in creating an end product.
Biomass means the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues from biological origin from agriculture (including vegetal and animal substances), forestry and related industries including fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the biodegradable fraction of industrial and municipal waste;
Natural Gas or “Gas” means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur and helium, which are produced from oil or gas xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue Gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from Gas such that any Gas sold under this Agreement shall be of the quality as indicated in Clause 7.
Ethanol blended gasoline means the same as defined in section 214A.1.
design pressure means the maximum pressure that a pressure vessel or plant is designed to withstand safety when operating normally;
