General Land Use Plan Clause Samples
The General Land Use Plan clause establishes the overall framework for how a particular parcel of land may be developed or used. It typically outlines permitted uses, density, building types, and other key planning parameters that guide future development on the property. For example, it may specify areas designated for residential, commercial, or mixed-use purposes, and set limitations on building heights or lot coverage. The core function of this clause is to provide clear, advance guidance to both developers and regulatory authorities, ensuring that land development aligns with broader planning objectives and reduces uncertainty about permissible uses.
General Land Use Plan. The Property shall be developed in the general configuration as shown on the concept plan attached hereto as Exhibit B, and incorporated herein (the “Concept Plan”). The Parties understand that the final size, configuration and layout of buildings may vary slightly from the Concept Plan.
