Auditors have the right to review books, records, and contracts of Company and where applicable, all individuals or business entities who are party to this Agreement, to substantiate the accuracy of reported Gross Receipts and Company’s compliance with other provisions of this Agreement.
When conducted by an independent certified public accountant, there may be no limitation on the scope of the engagement that would preclude the auditor from expressing an unqualified opinion as to the correctness and completeness of the reported Gross Receipts and Percentage Privilege Fees due and paid.
If the PPF previously invoiced by the Authority for the applicable period exceeds the PPF calculated on the certified Gross Receipts, the Authority will issue a credit memo indicating that the overpayment will be credited to the fees next thereafter due from Company.
The engagement will be conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and shall include an opinion on whether the Gross Receipts and Percentage Privilege Fees have been completely and accurately presented, calculated and reported according to the terms of this Agreement.
