Gross Dry Heating Value definition

Gross Dry Heating Value means the number of Btus produced by complete combustion, at a constant pressure, of the amount of Gas which would occupy a volume of one (1) cubic foot at a temperature of sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit on a dry basis and at a pressure of 14.73 p.s.i.a. with air of the same temperature and pressure as the Gas, when the products of combustion are cooled to the initial temperature of the Gas and air, and when the water formed by combustion has condensed to the liquid state.
Gross Dry Heating Value is the number of Btu’s produced by complete combustion, at a constant pressure, of the amount of Gas which would occupy a volume of one (1) cubic foot at a temperature of sixty degrees Fahrenheit (60oF) on a water-free basis and at a pressure of fourteen and seventy-three hundredths pounds per square inch absolute (14.73 p.s.i.a.), with air of the same temperature and pressure as the Gas, when the products of combustion are cooled to the initial temperature of the Gas and air, and when the water formed by combustion has condensed to the liquid state.

  • The unit of volume for measurement and for the determination of Gross Dry Heating Value shall be a Cubic Foot of Gas.

  • The Gross Dry Heating Value of the Gas delivered shall be determined by Gas samples or industry accepted recording calorimeters or chromatographs installed or caused to be installed by Gatherer at points on Gatherer's system(s) in specified areas.

  • Gross Heating Value means the total heat expressed in megajoules per cubic metre (MJ/m³) produced by the complete combustion at constant pressure of one (1) cubic metre of gas with air, with the gas free of water vapour and the temperature of the gas, air and products of combustion at standard temperature and all water formed by the combustion reaction condensed to the liquid state;

  • Heating Value means the heat released by combustion of one pound of waste or fuel measured in Btu on an as received basis. For solid fuels, the heating value shall be determined by use of ASTM Standard D2015-66.

  • Ending Value means the average of the values of the Basket at the close of the market on five business days shortly before the maturity date of the Notes. We may calculate the Ending Value by reference to fewer than five or even a single day's closing value if, during the period shortly before the maturity date of the Notes, there is a disruption in the trading of a sufficient number of stocks included in any Basket Index or certain futures or options contracts relating to a Basket Index.

  • Closing Value means, as of a particular date, the value of a Share determined by the closing sales price for such Share (or the closing bid, if no sales were reported) as quoted on The New York Stock Exchange for the last market trading day prior to the date of determination, as reported in The Wall Street Journal or such other source as the Administrator deems reliable.

  • Gross Asset Value means, with respect to any asset, the asset’s adjusted basis for federal income tax purposes, except as follows:

  • Gross Calorific Value of “GCV” shall mean that quantity of heat expressed in Kilowatt- hour produced by the complete combustion of one (1) normal cubic metre of Natural Gas at twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and an absolute pressure of one decimal zero one three two five (1.01325) bar with excess air at the same temperature and pressure as the Natural Gas when the products of combustion are cooled to twenty-five (25) degrees Celsius and when the water formed by combustion is condensed to the liquid state and the products of combustion contain the same total mass of water vapor as the Natural Gas and air before combustion.

  • Baseline Value for each of the Company and the Peer Companies means the dollar amount representing the average of the Fair Market Value of one share of common stock of such company over the five consecutive trading days ending on, and including, the Effective Date.

  • Adjusted Asset Value means, as of a given date, the sum of EBITDA attributable to malls, power centers and all other assets for the trailing four (4) quarters most recently ended, divided by (iii) 7.75%. In determining Adjusted Asset Value:

  • Market Value Adjustment means, on a given date, an amount equal to the lesser of (x) 98% and (y) a percentage determined according to the following formula: Market Value Adjustment = 98% – [(10yrCMTt – 10yrCMTlaunch) ×Duration], where 10yrCMTt = the 10-Year Treasury Constant Maturity Rate published each business day by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, or, if such rate ceases to be published, a successor rate reasonably determined by the Trustees (the “10-Year CMT”), on such repurchase date; 10yrCMTlaunch = the 10-Year CMT as of the end of the Initial Offering Period; and Duration = an estimate of the duration of the periodic interest payments of a hypothetical coupon-paying U.S. Government Security with a 25-year maturity, calculated by the Trust’s Investment Manager as of the end of the Initial Offering Period;

  • Salvage value means the amount received for property retired, less any expenses incurred in connection with the sale or in preparing the property for sale, or, if retained, the amount at which the material recoverable is chargeable to materials and supplies, or other appropriate account.

  • Carrying Value means (a) with respect to a Contributed Property, the Agreed Value of such property reduced (but not below zero) by all depreciation, amortization and cost recovery deductions charged to the Partners’ and Assignees’ Capital Accounts in respect of such Contributed Property, and (b) with respect to any other Partnership property, the adjusted basis of such property for federal income tax purposes, all as of the time of determination. For purposes of determining Total Asset Value, (u) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Unconsolidated Affiliates would exceed 15% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded, (v) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Mortgage Receivables would exceed 10% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded, (w) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Development/Redevelopment Properties would exceed 15% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded, (x) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Major Renovation Properties (elected to be valued pursuant to clause (c) of the definition of Operating Property Value) would exceed 15% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded, (y) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Unimproved Land would exceed 2.5% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded, and (z) to the extent the amount of Total Asset Value attributable to Properties subject to limitation under the foregoing clauses (u) through (y) would exceed 35% of Total Asset Value, such excess shall be excluded.

  • Adjusted Net Book Value means, as of any date of determination, with respect to each Adjusted Program Vehicle as of such date, the product of 0.965 and the Net Book Value of such Adjusted Program Vehicle as of such date.

  • Asset Value has the meaning assigned to such term in the Pricing Side Letter.

  • Adjusted Property means any property the Carrying Value of which has been adjusted pursuant to Section 5.5(d)(i) or 5.5(d)(ii).
