Guaranteed Heat Rate definition

Guaranteed Heat Rate means the Heat Rate guarantee made by the Bidder in its proposal that will apply to all levels of dispatch within a 3% band width.
Guaranteed Heat Rate has the meaning set forth in Section 4.2(a).
Guaranteed Heat Rate has the meaning assigned to such term in Exhibit R. “Guaranteed Ramp Rate” has the meaning set forth in Exhibit R. “Guaranteed Start-Up Time” has the meaning set forth in Exhibit R.

Examples of Guaranteed Heat Rate in a sentence

  • Seller shall operate and maintain the Facility so as to achieve the Guaranteed Heat Rate in accordance with the provisions of Exhibit R.

  • Seller shall notify Buyer from time to time of any expected material deviation of the Standard Heat Rate of the Facility from the Guaranteed Heat Rate so that Buyer is able to nominate its Fuel to match the requirements of the Facility.

  • The Guaranteed Heat Rate Curves shall consist of two curve segments, (a) the Unfired Guaranteed Heat Rate curves for operations between minimum load and Base Load, and (b) the Duct-Fired Guaranteed Heat Rate curves from Base Load to Peak Load.

  • Seller shall operate and maintain the Facility so as to achieve the Guaranteed Heat Rate in accordance with the provisions of Exhibit Q.

  • Seller will operate and maintain the Project so as to achieve the Minimum Guaranteed Availability, the Guaranteed Heat Rate, Guaranteed Start-Up Time, and Guaranteed Ramp Rate in accordance with the provisions of Appendix 7.6 (collectively, the “Performance Guarantees”).


More Definitions of Guaranteed Heat Rate

Guaranteed Heat Rate or "GHR" means the Heat Rate (at the Site Reference Conditions) guaranteed by the Project Company for the Fossil Fuel Fired Component, for Phase 1 and Phase 2, as set forth in the tables included in Schedule 5.
Guaranteed Heat Rate shall be 10,000MMBtu/kWh (higher heating value). This value assumes the use of gas compression. If gas compression is not required because of higher delivery pressure, the Guaranteed Heat Rate will be reduced by a percentage not less than 2% nor more than 5% as set forth in a Department Determination Certificate.
Guaranteed Heat Rate has the meaning assigned to such term in Exhibit Q. “Guaranteed Ramp Rate” has the meaning set forth in Exhibit Q. “Guaranteed Start-Up Time” has the meaning set forth in Exhibit Q.
Guaranteed Heat Rate means the Guaranteed Heat Rate as set forth with Appendix 7.6.
Guaranteed Heat Rate means the average heat rate associated with the [relevant] Project while operating in [base mode (namely, at 100% combustion turbine load)] / [ specify mode of operation applicable to Guaranteed Heat Rate ] at the rated conditions for the [relevant] Project, as set forth in Schedule I hereto.
Guaranteed Heat Rate means the Heat Rate commitment made by the Bidder in its proposal, that is not necessarily the actual Heat Rate of the generating resource.
