Gulf Opportunity Zone or ‘GO Zone’ means that
Gulf Opportunity Zone means the portion of the Hurricane Katrina disaster area determined by the President of the United States to warrant individual or individual and public assistance from the federal government under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act by reason of Hurricane Katrina that is located within the State of Alabama. Those counties considered to be in the Gulf Opportunity Zone are Baldwin, Marengo, Mobile, Pickens, Greene, Hale, Tuscaloosa, Washington, Choctaw, Clarke, and Sumter.
Gulf Opportunity Zone means that geographic area of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana so defined in Section 1400M(1) of the Code.
