Head Contractor definition

Head Contractor means a contractor who is engaged to do substantially all of the work respecting an improvement, whether or not others are engaged as subcontractors, material suppliers or workers.
Head Contractor means a bidder liable for its participation in bidding which gives its name to a tender, and which directly signs in and implements a contract if selected. Head contractor may be dependent contractor or member of partnership of contractors.

Head Contractor means the party with whom the client agency enters into a contract for building and construction work as nominated under the Queensland Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011.
