Highway route controlled quantity means a quantity within a single package which exceeds:
Highway route controlled quantity means a large quantity of radioactive material based on its total level of radioactivity, not weight or volume. A shipment of radioactive material that is highway route controlled must be operated on routes that minimize risk.

  • Type A quantity means a quantity of radioactive material, the aggregate radioactivity of which does not exceed A1 for special form radioactive material or A2 for normal form radio- active material, where A1 and A2 are given in Appendix O or may be determined by procedures described in Appendix O.

  • Contract Quantity means the quantity of Delivered Energy expected to be delivered by Seller during each Contract Year as set forth in the Cover Sheet.

  • Type B quantity means a quantity of radioactive material greater than a Type A quantity.

  • Peak tube potential means the maximum value of the potential difference across the x-ray tube during an exposure.

  • Source material milling means any activity that results in the production of byproduct material as defined by definition (2) of byproduct material.
