Incidental Energy definition

Incidental Energy. Means any electric energy delivered hourly in excess of Delivered Energy as such amount of electric energy delivered is determined on an hourly basis pursuant to Section 4, Metering.
Incidental Energy means energy produced as an incidental by-product of—
Incidental Energy. Means Energy delivered by Seller from the Plant to the Point of Delivery that exceeds Contract Maximum Energy on a Planning Year basis, as such amount of electric energy delivered is determined on an hourly basis pursuant to Section 4, Metering.

Examples of Incidental Energy in a sentence

  • Commencing with the Initial Operation Date and continuing for the term of this Agreement, Seller shall pay Buyer, for each hour that the Incidental Energy Price is a negative value, the product of such Incidental Energy Price and the Incidental Energy delivered for each such hour.

  • All electric energy associated with Delivered Energy or Incidental Energy that is delivered by Seller to the applicable electric distribution system owner and/or operator shall be metered at the billing meter installation(s) provided pursuant to the Interconnection Agreement and shall be separately metered from electric energy generated by generating facilities other than the Plant.

  • Thus, the Incidental Energy (IE) Cost based on actual dispatch shall be calculated using the following formula: Incidental Energy Cost Payment for DR IEDR = G x (AR + VOM) - (REVWESM) where AR refers to the Applicable Rate as defined in 1.1(a) above In the event that the IE resulted in a negative amount due to a higher net result between WESM revenue and payment, said negative amount shall be used to off-set any positive amount determined within the relevant period or to the succeeding billing month.

Related to Incidental Energy

  • Incidental services means those services ancillary to the supply of the goods and services, such as transportation and insurance, and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training and other such obligations of the vendor covered under the contract;

  • Annual Energy Use means, (i) with respect to the first 5 years following the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kilowatt hours (“kWhs”), within the Party’s respective jurisdiction and (ii) with respect to the period after the fifth anniversary of the Effective Date, the annual electricity usage, expressed in kWhs, of accounts within a Party’s respective jurisdiction that are served by the Authority and (b) “Total Annual Energy” means the sum of all Parties’ Annual Energy Use. The initial values for Annual Energy use are designated in Exhibit C, and shall be adjusted annually as soon as reasonably practicable after January 1, but no later than March 1 of each year

  • Replacement Energy means Energy purchased by Buyer as replacement for any Delivery Shortfall.

  • Incidental Expenses means those expenses incidental to the performance of construction pursuant to an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including, but not limited to, the expense of temporary construction power, telecommunications charges, Interconnected Transmission Owner expenses associated with, but not limited to, document preparation, design review, installation, monitoring, and construction-related operations and maintenance for the Customer Facility and for the Interconnection Facilities.

  • Useful thermal energy means, with regard to a cogeneration unit, thermal energy that is:

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Incidental sign means a small sign, emblem, or decal informing the public of goods, facilities or services available on the premises (e.g., a credit card sign or a sign indicating hours of business).

  • cogeneration means the simultaneous generation in one process of thermal energy and electrical or mechanical energy;

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Energy conservation means the decrease in energy requirements of specific customers during any selected time period, resulting in a reduction in end-use services.

  • Net energy metering means the difference between the kilowatt-hours consumed by a customer-generator and the kilowatt-hours generated by the customer- generator's facility over any time period determined as if measured by a single meter capable of registering the flow of electricity in two directions.

  • Real-time Energy Market means the purchase or sale of energy and payment of Transmission Congestion Charges for quantity deviations from the Day-ahead Energy Market in the Operating Day.

  • Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.

  • Incidental as used in subrule 39.28(10), means that the value of the long-term care benefits provided is less than 10 percent of the total value of the benefits provided over the life of the policy. These values shall be measured as of the date of issue.

Incidental costs may include, but are not limited to, insurance policy deductibles, rental vehicle charges, the difference between the actual value of a stolen vehicle at the time of theft and the cost of a replacement vehicle, sales taxes, registration fees, transaction fees, and mechanical inspection fees.

  • Wheeling means the operation whereby the distribution system and associated facilities of a transmission licensee or distribution licensee, as the case may be, are used by another person for the conveyance of electricity on payment of charges to be determined under section 62;

  • Real-time System Energy Price means the System Energy Price resulting from the Office of the Interconnection’s dispatch of the PJM Interchange Energy Market in the Operating Day.
