The Contracting Officer shall consider the request and if in agreement, issue a modification to the contract to suspend work due to adverse weather conditions and establish a date to resume work. The contract performance period shall remain unchanged by the modification and there will be no additional payment made. If the Contracting Officer disapproves the contractor's request, the contractor will be notified in writing.
