Initial Entry definition

Initial Entry means an individual's first appointment to State service.
Initial Entry. The Commission through the Chief of Police reserves the right to place a newly-hired employee on a salary schedule at a level commensurate to that individual's experience and competence." After such initial placement, the individual shall progress on the salary schedule in accordance with its terms. Said initial placement is not subject to the grievance and arbitration procedures of this contract.
Initial Entry is defined as a student’s first day of attendance at the School participating in the School’s course of instruction.

  • Placed in Service means: 1) for a new or existing building used as residential rental property, the date on which the building is ready and available for its specifically assigned function (i.e. the date on which the first Unit in the building is certified as being suitable for occupancy in accordance with state or local law); and 2) with respect to rehabilitation expenditures that are treated as a separate new building, those buildings are placed in service at the close of any twenty-four (24) month period over which the expenditures are aggregated.
