Examples of International Tribunal in a sentence

  • The International Tribunal shall have the power to prosecute persons responsible for serious violations of international humanitarian law committed in the territory of the former Yugoslavia since 1991 in accordance with the provisions of the present Statute.

  • If in the circumstances specified in paragraphs 3 and 4 of this Article the President of the International Tribunal is unable to exercise the above function or he is a national of a Contracting Party, the appointment shall be made by the Vice President.

  • In the case of failure to reach agreement on referral to the International Court of Justice, to the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea or to arbitration, the Parties shall continue to consult and cooperate with a view to reaching settlement of the dispute in accordance with the rules of international law relating to the conservation of living marine resources.

  • Such imprisonment shall be in accordance with the applicable law of the State concerned, subject to the supervision of the International Tribunal.

  • The International Tribunal for Rwanda shall have jurisdiction over natural persons pursuant to the provisions of the present Statute.
