  • Headings mean the chapters and the four-digit headings used in the nomenclature which makes up the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, referred to in this Protocol as "the Harmonized System" or "HS";

  • Table of Contents is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the attached “Table of Contents” (identified by “SA-11”).

  • Interpretation means an addendum to a Reliability Standard, developed in accordance with the NERC Standard Processes Manual and approved by the Applicable Governmental Authority(ies), that provides additional clarity about one or more Requirements in the Reliability Standard.

  • Construction means any physical change or change in the method of operation (including fabrication, erection, installation, demolition, or modification of an emissions unit) which would result in a change in actual emissions.

  • Interpretation Act means the Interpretation Act (British Columbia) from time to time in force and all amendments thereto and includes all regulations and amendments thereto made pursuant to that Act;

  • subheading means the first six-digits in the tariff classification number under the Harmonized System.

  • Agency head or "Procurement Officer" means the person who signs this contract on behalf of the Requesting Agency and includes a successor or authorized representative.

  • Start of construction means the date the development permit was issued, provided the actual start of construction, repair, reconstruction, or improvement was within 180 days of the permit date. The actual start means the first placement of permanent construction of the structure such as the pouring of slabs or footings, installation of piles, construction of columns, or any work beyond the stage of excavation, and includes the placement of a manufactured home on a foundation. (Permanent construction does not include initial land preparation, such as clearing, grading and filling; nor does it include the installation of streets and/or walkways; nor does it include excavation for a basement, footings, piers or foundations or the erection of temporary forms; nor does it include the installation on the property of buildings appurtenant to the permitted structure, such as garages or sheds not occupied as dwelling units or part of the main structure. (NOTE: accessory structures are NOT exempt from any ordinance requirements) For a substantial improvement, the actual start of construction means the first alteration of any wall, ceiling, floor, or other structural part of a building, whether or not that alteration affects the external dimensions of the building.

  • Confirmation Hearing means the hearing held by the Bankruptcy Court pursuant to section 1128 of the Bankruptcy Code to consider confirmation of this Plan, as such hearing may be adjourned or continued from time to time.

  • Reference means the basic function of providing information about library and state archives of Iowa materials and making the materials available for research.

  • Substantive means comments that contribute something new and hopefully important to the discussion. Thus a message that simply says “I agree” is not substantive. A substantive comment contributes a new idea or perspective, a good follow-up question to a point made, offers a response to a question, provides an example or illustration of a key point, points out an inconsistency in an argument, etc.

  • Commencement of Construction means the commencement of construction of foundation components or elements (such as footings, rafts or piles) for the home.

  • Completion of Construction means all the construction is complete except for minor weather-related components and conforms to the approved plans and specifications and change orders.

  • Convenience fee means a fee charged to the cardholder for the convenience to that cardholder of using a particular method of payment in a credit or debit card transaction in accordance with the network regulations governing that transaction.

  • Cost of Construction means the total cost to Owner of those portions of the entire Project designed or specified by the Design Professional. Cost of Construction does not include the Design Professional's compensation and expenses and Owner's expenses associated with the Project or the cost of other services to be provided by others to the Owner.

  • Exhibits means the several exhibits referred to and identified in this Agreement.

  • Cross-reference The statutory provisions on the President and the Executive are found in title 2 of this code. The statutory provisions on the FSM Congress are found in title 3 of this code.
