Interstate branch definition

Interstate branch means a branch of a bank or a branch of a foreign bank, as the context requires, established, acquired, or retained pursuant to the Interstate Banking and Branching Efficiency Act, outside the home state of the bank or foreign bank. The term does not include, with respect to a foreign bank, a limited branch as that term is defined by this section.
Interstate branch means a branch office of a bank which is established and maintained in a Host State within the region.
Interstate branch means a branch of a bank or a branch of a foreign bank, as the context may require, which is established after September 29, 1994, pursuant to the authority contained in the Interstate Banking and Branching Efficiency Act, outside the home state of the bank or foreign bank.
