Interstate commission for juveniles definition

Interstate commission for juveniles or "interstate commission" means the interstate commission for juveniles created by Article III of this compact.

  • Interstate commission means the Interstate Commission for Juveniles created by Article III of this compact.

  • Public Service Commission means the Public Service Commission constituted under this Constitution;

  • Intrastate commerce means any and all com- merce or trade that is begun, carried on, and completed wholly within the limits of the State of Washington, and the phrase “introduced into intrastate commerce” defines the time and place at which the first sale and delivery of a commodity is made within the state, the delivery being made either directly to the purchaser or to a common carrier for shipment to the purchaser.

  • Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) means the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission or its duly authorized representatives.

  • Central Commission means the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission referred to in sub-section (1) of section 76 of the Act;

  • Licensed health care practitioner means a physician, as defined in Section 1861(r)(1) of the Social Security Act, a registered professional nurse, licensed social worker or other individual who meets requirements prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury.

  • Advance health care directive means a power of attorney for health care or a record signed or authorized by a prospective donor containing the prospective donor’s direction concerning a health care decision for the prospective donor.

  • Public utilities means those utilities defined in sections 4905.02, 4905.03, 4907.02, and 4907.03 of the Revised Code; in the case of a foreign corporation, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of its domicile; and in the case of any other foreign issuer, it means those utilities defined as public utilities by the laws of the situs of its principal place of business. The term always includes railroads whether or not they are so defined as public utilities.

  • Physical Therapy Compact Commission or "commission" means the national administrative body whose membership consists of all states that have enacted the compact.

  • Interstate system means that portion of the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways located within this State, as officially designated, or as may hereafter be so designated, by the Department of Transportation, and approved by the Secretary of Commerce or other appropriate federal official, pursuant to the provisions of Title 23 of the United States Code.

  • Intra-governmental gift means any gift given to a Board member or employee from another Board member or employee, and "inter- governmental gift" means any gift given to a Board member or employee from an officer or employee of another governmental entity.

  • Railways Commission means the Western Australian Government Railways Commission established pursuant to the Government Railways Xxx 0000;

  • Interstate highway means a highway route on the interstate system as defined in and designated pursuant to Title 23 of the United States Code, prior to the effective date of this act.

  • Licensed health care professional means a person who possesses a professional medical license that is valid in Oregon. Examples include, but are not limited to, a registered nurse (RN), nurse practitioner (NP), licensed practical nurse (LPN), medical doctor (MD), osteopathic physician (DO), respiratory therapist (RT), physical therapist (PT), physician assistant (PA), or occupational therapist (OT).

  • Relevant Electric Retail Regulatory Authority means an entity that has jurisdiction over and establishes prices and policies for competition for providers of retail electric service to end- customers, such as the city council for a municipal utility, the governing board of a cooperative utility, the state public utility commission or any other such entity.
