Coastal vessel means any vessel exclusively employed in trading between any port or place in India to any other port or place in India having a valid coastal license issued by the competent authority.
cargo ship means any ship which is not a passenger ship;
Commercial vessel means any vessel not owned and operated by the United States military or the United States Coast Guard.
Relevant Ship means the Ships and any other vessel from time to time (whether before or after the date of this Agreement) owned, managed or crewed by, or chartered to, any Relevant Party;
Mortgaged Ship means a Ship which is subject to a Mortgage at the relevant time and, in the plural, means all of them;
U.S.-flag vessel means a vessel of the United States or belonging to the United States, including any vessel registered or having national status under the laws of the United States.
Law Society means the Law Society of Ireland;
War Risks means any event specified in paragraphs (a) and (b) of CC Sub-Clause 37.1 and any explosion or impact of any mine, bomb, shell, grenade or other projectile, missile, munitions or explosive of war, occurring or existing in or near the country (or countries) where the Site is located.
Flag State means a State whose flag a ship is entitled to fly.
Tank vessel means a ship that is constructed or adapted to carry, or that carries, oil in bulk as cargo or cargo residue, and that:
New ship means a ship:
Cargo vessel means a self-propelled ship in commerce, other than a tank vessel or a passenger vessel, three hundred or more gross tons, including but not limited to, commercial fish processing vessels and freighters.
Mortgaged Vessel means, at any relevant time, any Vessel which is at such time subject to a Mortgage and a Vessel shall, for the purposes of this Agreement, be regarded as a Mortgaged Vessel as from the date on which the Mortgage of that Vessel has been executed and registered in accordance with this Agreement until whichever shall be the earlier of (i) the payment in full of the amount required to be paid to the Agent pursuant to clause 4.3 or 4.5 following the Total Loss or sale respectively of such Vessel and (ii) the end of the Facility Period;
Vessel means the vessel/craft belonging to the Contractor for carrying out the work.
existing vessel means a vessel that is not a new fishing vessel.
friendly society means corporation that is a friendly society within the meaning of section 16C of the Life Insurance Act 1995 of the Commonwealth.
Foreign flag vessel means any vessel that is not a U.S.-flag vessel.
Sailing vessel means any vessel under sail provided that propelling machinery, if fitted, is not being used.
railway undertaking means any public or private undertaking licensed according to this Directive, the principal business of which is to provide services for the transport of goods and/or passengers by rail with a requirement that the undertaking ensure traction; this also includes undertakings which provide traction only;
passenger ship means a ship which carries more than 12 passengers;
Covered vessel means a tank vessel, cargo vessel, or passenger vessel.
Shipbuilding Contract means the shipbuilding contract dated 30 March 2011 and made between the Builder and the Borrower for the construction by the Builder of the Ship and its purchase by the Borrower as supplemented and amended from time to time;
Classification Society or “Class” means the Society referred to in line 4.
Existing ship means a ship which is not a new ship.
Approved Flag State means the Xxxxxxxx Islands, Liberia or any other country in which the Agent, may in its sole and absolute discretion, approve that a Ship be registered;
New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter. The BMP Manual is periodically amended by the Department as necessary to provide design specifications on additional best management practices and new information on already included practices reflecting the best available current information regarding the particular practice and the Department’s determination as to the ability of that best management practice to contribute to compliance with the standards contained in this chapter. Alternative stormwater management measures, removal rates, or calculation methods may be utilized, subject to any limitations specified in this chapter, provided the design engineer demonstrates to the municipality, in accordance with Section IV.F. of this ordinance and N.J.A.C. 7:8-5.2(g), that the proposed measure and its design will contribute to achievement of the design and performance standards established by this chapter.
