Journeyman Tradesperson. A Journeyman Tradesperson in a particular trade is a person who has completed the required apprenticeship training in that trade pursuant to the British Columbia Apprenticeship Act, or has completed equivalent training acceptable to the official Examining Board, and, in either case, has passed the officially prescribed examination.

  • Journeyman means a person working in an apprenticeable occupation who has successfully completed a registered apprenticeship program or who has worked the number of years required by established industry practices for that person’s particular trade or occupation.
