Language of the Council definition

Language of the Council means English as the language of communication (also refer to the approved language policy of Council);

Related to Language of the Council

  • the Council means the Council of the Society;

  • Academic Council means the Academic Council of the University;

  • County Council means Greenville County Council, the governing body of the County.

  • State Council means the resident members of the State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision created by each state under Article IV of this compact.

  • regional council means a regional council established under section 2 of the Regional Councils Act, 1992 (Act 22 of 1992);

  • City Council means the City Council of the City.

  • the Council Regulation means Council Regulation (E.C.) No. 2201/2003 of 27th November 2003 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and matters of parental responsibility;

  • Councillor means a member of a municipal council;

  • Municipal Planning Tribunal means the Municipal Planning Tribunal for the municipal area established in terms of section 33, the joint Municipal Planning Tribunal established in terms of section 45 or the District Municipal Planning Tribunal established in terms of section 49;

  • Central Bank Regulations means the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013

  • Advisory council means the developmental disabilities advisory

  • Board of Commissioners means a county board of commissioners.

  • Town Council means a Town Council established under the Town Councils Act (Cap. 329A);

  • Political action committee or “PAC” means an organization whose purpose is to solicit and make Political Contributions.

  • Quasi-public Agency means the Connecticut Development Authority, Connecticut Innovations, Incorporated, Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority, Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority, Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Connecticut Housing Authority, Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, Connecticut Hazardous Waste Management Service, Capital City Economic Development Authority, Connecticut Lottery Corporation, or as this definition may otherwise be modified by Title 1, Chapter 12 of the Connecticut General Statutes concerning quasi-public agencies.

  • Council means the Council of the Municipality;

  • National Council means the National Bargaining Council for the Clothing Manufacturing Industry, registered in terms of the Act;

  • District Council means a district council within the meaning of the Local Government Act (Northern Ireland) 1972(7);

  • District Evaluation Advisory Committee means a group created to oversee and guide the planning and implementation of the Board of Education's evaluation policies and procedures as set forth in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.3.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Personal campaign committee means the committee appointed by a candidate to act for the candidate as provided in this chapter.

  • Executive Council means the Executive Council of the University;

  • bargaining council means a bargaining council registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, and, in relation to the public service, includes the bargaining councils referred to in section 35 of that Act;

  • standards committee (“pwyllgor safonau”) means the standards committee of the county or county borough council which has functions in relation to the community council for which it is responsible under section 56(1) and (2) of the Local Government Act 2000.

  • Community Council or “Council” means a duly elected body of MNO citizens that represents a Charter Community,

  • the Tribunal means the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber).
