League Independent Tribunal definition

League Independent Tribunal means a Tribunal appointed by an Affiliated League under Regulation 5.1 of these Regulations;

Examples of League Independent Tribunal in a sentence

  • If a dispute arises concerning any matter relating to an APPS such dispute must be referred to the League Independent Tribunal of the Affiliated League concerned for hearing and determination.

  • Such appeal must be directed by the player to the League Independent Tribunal through the Secretary of that Affiliated League by the Secretary of the Affiliated League Club to which the player has sought a Clearance.

  • A player registered with an Affiliated League Club who is refused a Clearance from a Club of the Affiliated League in which he is registered to another Club in the same Affiliated League, may appeal against that refusal to the League Independent Tribunal of that Affiliated League.

  • The League Independent Tribunal may vary the date, time and place initially specified for the appeal and upon doing so, shall immediately provide all parties interested in the appeal written notice of any such variation.

  • A person shall attend and appear before a League Independent Tribunal (Area Appeal Committee hearings are determined by submission – no attendance at such hearings are required) at the date, time and place fixed for hearing.

  • Subject to Regulation 8.8.2, where a League Independent Tribunal imposes a sanction which prevents the appellant from participating in a match, the appellant shall serve that sanction pending the determination of the appeal.

  • If the League Independent Tribunal is of the opinion that the Player, Official or Club in question has engaged in unbecoming conduct or conduct which has or is likely to bring the game of football into disrepute, it may make such orders and give such directions in the matter as it thinks fit.

  • The Regional Football Advisory Council must be notified by no later than one week after the Annual Meeting of an Affiliated League and a Zone Advisory Council respectively of the names of the persons appointed to positions of the League Independent Tribunal and the Zone Independent Tribunal.

  • Unless otherwise stated, the provisions contained in this Regulation 7.6 shall apply in respect of all hearings of a League Independent Tribunal or Area Appeal Committee.

  • Initiating tribunal means the tribunal of a state or foreign country from which a petition or comparable pleading is forwarded or in which a petition or comparable pleading is filed for forwarding to another state or foreign country.

  • the Tribunal means the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber).

  • Independent candidate means any candidate who claims not to be affiliated with a political party, and whose name has been certified on the office-type ballot at a general or special election through the filing of a statement of candidacy and nominating petition, as prescribed in section 3513.257 of the Revised Code.

  • Independent Third Party means any Person who, immediately prior to a contemplated transaction, does not own in excess of 5% of the Company’s Common Units on a fully-diluted basis (a “5% Owner”), who is not controlling, controlled by or under common control with any such 5% Owner and who is not the spouse or descendant (by birth or adoption) of any such 5% Owner or a trust for the benefit of such 5% Owner and/or such other Persons.

  • Appeal Tribunal means the all-citizen Tribunal duly appointed by Council to conduct hearings under this By-law; (191-08)

  • Dispute Board (DB) means the person or persons named as such in the SCC appointed by agreement between the Procuring Entity and the Contractor to make a decision with respect to any dispute or difference between the Procuring Entity and the Contractor referred to him or her by the Parties pursuant to GCC Sub-Clause 46.1 (Dispute Board) hereof.

  • Independent physician means a physician who is chosen by the resident of the assisted living facility and who has no financial interest in the assisted living facility, directly or indirectly, as an owner, officer, or employee or as an independent contractor with the residence.

  • Member organization means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, or association that belongs to an association.

  • Independent Accountant has the meaning set forth in Section 2.04(c)(iii).
