Examples of Legal Request in a sentence
If the Recipient or its Representatives are required to disclose any of the Disclosing Party's Confidential Information under applicable federal, state, or local law, regulation, or pursuant to a valid order from a court or governmental authority of competent jurisdiction (a "Legal Order") or any other request from a legal, regulatory, governmental, or supervisory body (a "Legal Request"), such disclosure shall be governed by this Section 5.
If, after providing such notice and assistance, the Recipient is still legally compelled to disclose any Confidential Information, the Recipient or its Representatives or any person directed by the Legal Order or Legal Request shall disclose only the portion of the Confidential Information that, in the opinion of legal counsel, is required by the Legal Order or Legal Request.
Before making any such disclosure, the Recipient shall, to the extent reasonably possible: to the extent legally permitted, promptly notify the Disclosing Party in writing of the Legal Order or Legal Request, allowing the Disclosing Party, at its own expense, to seek a protective order or other appropriate remedy; and provide reasonable assistance, at the Disclosing Party’s cost, in contesting the disclosure or obtaining a protective order or other limitations on the disclosure.
If so requested, Receiving Party shall reasonably cooperate in the defense against any Legal Request.
Legal Request Absence from school by reason of subpoena or jury service by summons will be allowed.
MaintainX shall, and shall procure that any Sub-Processor shall, not disclose Cus- tomer Personal Data pursuant to a Legal Request unless it is required to do so and has otherwise complied with the obligations in this Section.
In the event of any Legal Request, Parent shall promptly notify the Stockholder Representative in writing (prior to the disclosure by Parent of any Pre-Merger Communications to the extent practicable) so that the Stockholder Representative can seek a protective order and Parent agrees to use all commercially reasonable efforts (at the sole cost and expense of the Stockholder Representative) to assist therewith.

If so requested, the Non-Disclosing Party shall reasonably cooperate in the defense against any Legal Request.
If Provider’s redirecting efforts are unsuccessful, and, if not prohibited by applicable law from doing so, Provider will, prior to disclosure, provide as much notice of the Legal Request to Customer (which notice will include, if permitted by applicable law, a copy of the Legal Request) as is reasonably practicable to allow Customer to seek a protective order or other legal options.
