Less Than Truckload definition

Less Than Truckload or “LTL” means any shipment that is deemed less than a full truckload and which weighs less than 7,000 pounds and is rated at less than 7,000 pounds under the provisions of Item 970.
Less Than Truckload means all shipments subject to LTL ratings in the NMFC weighing or rated as 19,999 pounds or less.
Less Than Truckload or “LTL” means any shipment that is deemed less than a full truckload and which weights less than 10,000 pounds.
