The purpose of the review will be (1) to establish the approximate proportions in which the overall cost of such claims under the Liability Convention and/or the 1992 Fund Convention and/or the Protocol has been borne respectively by shipowners and by oil receivers in the period since 20 February 2006; and (2) to consider the efficiency, operation and performance of this Agreement.
This provision shall apply irrespective of whether the Owner is exonerated from liability under the Liability Convention by virtue of Article III, paragraph 2 thereof.
Civil Liability Convention means the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage (a copy of the English text of which is set forth in Schedule 1).
But if the regulations do not give the term a meaning, it has the same meaning as in the Liability Convention.
Liability Convention means the Convention on International Liability for Damage Caused by Space Objects done at London, Moscow and Washington on 29 March 1972 and whose English text is set out in Schedule 1.
