Life Assured definition

Life Assured means the person named as the Life Assured in the Schedule whose life is assured under this Policy.

Life Assured means the person named in the Schedule on whose life the insurance cover under this Policy has been granted.

Life Assured means the person as stated in the Policy Schedule on whose life the contingent events have to occur for the Benefits to be payable. The Life Assured may be the Policyholder.

Examples of Life Assured in a sentence

• Also it remains agreed that The Company shall not pay any amount in the following instances: - If it is proved that the Life Assured has been taking part in any of the events mentioned and defined above; - If the Life Assured is a member of the regular army, the police or any military or paramilitary organization.

• In case of death of the Life Assured while the Contract is still in force, the nominated beneficiary should inform the Company in writing within a period of 15 working days from the death occurrence.

• Any modification to a higher cover may only be made if the Company is satisfied as to the continued good health and insurability of the Life Assured and will necessitate the payment of a higher contribution.

• Upon the death of the Life Assured due to sickness, disease, accident or any other reason according to the conditions of this Contract and while it is still in force, X.X.X. will pay to the nominated beneficiary the sum assured stated in the (T.B. and C.), upon the receipt of the proofs and required documents.

• If during the existence of the basic cover and prior to his 65th birthday the Life Assured suffers a bodily injury caused solely and directly by a sudden, violent, external, visible, material, unforeseen, unintended accident which causes directly and notwithstanding any other factor within twelve calendar months the death or permanent disablement, the Company shall pay the additional amount shown in the (T.B. and C.).
