Life Status Change definition

Life Status Change means an event recognized by the Policyholder and Us that qualifies the Insured Person to make changes in coverage at any time other than an Enrollment Period. The following events are all considered Life Status Changes:

  • Termination of Service means:

  • Continuous Status as an Employee means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee. Continuous Status as an Employee shall not be considered interrupted in the case of a leave of absence agreed to in writing by the Company, provided that such leave is for a period of not more than 90 days or reemployment upon the expiration of such leave is guaranteed by contract or statute.

  • Child with a disability means a child who, by reason of any of the following, needs special education and related services:

  • Involuntary Termination means a termination of your employment with the Company pursuant to either (i) a termination initiated by the Company without Cause, or (ii) your resignation for Good Reason, and provided in either case such termination constitutes a Separation from Service.
