Life support definition

Life support means life-sustaining procedures.
Life support refers to any medical means for maintaining life, including procedures, devices and medications. If you refuse life support, you will still get routine measures to keep you clean and comfortable.
Life support means the Insured is under the regular care of a licensed Physician for nutritional, respiratory and/or cardiovascular support when Irreversible cessation of all functions of the brain has occurred.
