Local Sewer definition

Local Sewer means any sewer constructed, operated or maintained by any municipality. “Local sewer” does not include any sewer that has been incorporated into the sewerage system under s. 200.37 (2). If the classification of any sewer is unclear, the presumption shall be that the sewer is local.
Local Sewer means any sewer or system of sewers which is connected to the Cohansey River Basin Sewer System and owned and/or operated by any person (as defined in Section 2.21.0) other than the Authority. Section 2.19.5 "May" is defined as permissive.
Local Sewer means a sewer that abuts and directly serves individual properties. The main purpose of these sewers is to receive the wastewater discharge from individual buildings for subsequent conveyance to the treatment facility through trunk sewers. Sometimes called street sewer.
