local services means those services, facilities or things which are under the jurisdiction of the municipality and are related to a plan of subdivision or within the area to which the plan relates in respect of the lands under Sections 41,51 or 53 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended or any successor thereto;
Local Loop refers to a transmission facility between the main distribution frame [cross- connect], or its equivalent, in an Embarq Central Office or wire center, and up to the demarcation point (e.g., Network Interface Device) at a customer’s premises, to which CLEC is granted exclusive use. Backhaul means intermediate links between the core network, or backbone network, and the small subnetworks at the edge of the network (e.g., connecting cell phones/towers to the core telephone network). Backhaul can be wireless (e.g., microwave) or wired (e.g., fiber optic, coaxial cable, Ethernet).
Stations means the Owned Stations and the Contract Stations.
Wireline backhaul facility means a facility used to transport services by wire or fiber-optic cable from a wireless facility to a network.
Local Personnel means such professionals and support staff who at the time of being so provided had their domicile inside the Government’s country.

Transportation Service means a service for moving people and goods, such as intercity bus service and passenger rail service.
Transient guest means a natural person staying less than 30 consecutive days.
Storm Sewer means a sewer which carries storm and surface waters and drainage, but excludes sewage and industrial wastes, other than unpolluted cooling water.
Local Calling Area is a geographically defined area as established by the effective tariffs of CenturyLink as approved by the Commission.
