Local Worker definition

Local Worker means an Employee who is not a Distant Worker as defined; Mobilisation means a Distant Workers initial forward journey when proceeding to construction work at the Project near Karratha, after engagement;
Local Worker means an employee whose principal place of residence for taxation purposes is in South Australia.
Local Worker means a construction craft worker domiciled in the Metropolitan Service Area, or Veteran residing anywhere. “Domiciled” has the meaning set forth in section 349(b) of the California Election Code, indicating a fixed address with intent of continued residency.   • Where a Local Worker is absent with respect to any unauthorised absence, the Company shall deduct one seventh (1/7th) of the local living subsidy for each day or part thereof that the Local Worker is not ready, willing and available for work.
