LOSS OF MONEY definition

LOSS OF MONEY means any physical loss, damage or destruction, theft or misappropriation of any money, bank note, negotiable instrument, bearer bond, coupon, stamp or currency note belonging to the entity stated in item 1 of the Schedule, or for which the Insured is legally responsible in the ordinary course of the Insured’s Business.

  • Judgments means any and all judgments, orders, writs, directives, rulings, decisions, injunctions, decrees, assessments, settlement agreements (other than settlement agreements under which there are no continuing obligations) or awards of any Authority.

  • Substantial bodily injury means "bodily injury which involves (A) a temporary but substantial disfigurement; or (B) a temporary but substantial loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member, organ, or mental faculty." See 18 U.S.C. § 113(b)(1).

  • Client Money means the provisions of the FCA’s Client Assets Sourcebook relating to client money.

  • Uninsured motor vehicle" means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type: 1. To which no bodily injury liability bond or policy applies at the time of the accident. 2. Owned or operated by a self-insurer under any applicable motor vehicle law, except a self-insurer which is or becomes insolvent. 3. Owned by any governmental unit or agency. 4. Operated on rails or crawler treads. 5. Designed mainly for use off public roads while not on public roads. 6. While located for use as a residence or premises.

  • Value for Money means best returns for each rupee spent in terms of quality, timeliness, reliability, after sales service, up-grade ability, price, source, and the combination of whole-life cost and quality to meet SNDB’s requirements.

  • Public money means any funds or money obtained from any governmental entity, including, but not limited to, research grants.

  • Accidental Bodily Injury means an Injury sustained as the result of an Accident and independently of all other causes by an outside traumatic event or due to exposure to the elements.

  • Compensable injury means an injury by accident arising out of and in the course of hazardous employment which must be established by medical evidence supported by objective medical findings.

  • Substantial damage means damage of any origin sustained by a structure whereby the cost of restoring the structure to its before damaged condition would equal or exceed 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the damage occurred.

  • Structural damage means a covered building, regardless of the date of its construction, has experienced the following.

  • Explosion means the sudden release of energy sufficient to cause pressure waves and/or projectiles that may cause structural and/or physical damage to the surrounding of the tested-device.

  • Casualty shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.2 hereof.

  • Burglary means the unforeseen and unauthorised entry to or exit from the Insured Premises by aggressive and detectable means with the intent to steal Contents there from.

  • Physical Damage means tangible damage to a Property that materially adversely affects the use, marketability, or value of the Property, whether caused by accident or otherwise, including, but not limited to damage caused by reason of fire, destruction of tangible property, defects in construction, land subsidence, earth movement or slippage, flood, earthquake, war, civil insurrection, or riot; and further, Physical Damage includes Environmental Impairment and the destruction or removal of chattel items that are considered part of the Property (see Section I., KK., [Property]) For purposes of this definition "material" shall mean an amount equal to or greater than $1,500.00 such that the estimated cost to repair a Property is $1,500.00 or more before the exclusion set forth in Section III., G., (Physical Damage Exclusion) would apply to exclude coverage for a Loan. The presence of radon gas, lead paint or asbestos in the dwelling on the Property shall not be deemed to be Physical Damage.

  • Repair or replacement means the restoration of vehicles, vessels, or outboard

  • Machinery means any article or combination of articles assembled, arranged or connected and which is used or intended to be used for converting any form of energy to performing work, or which is used or intended to be used, whether incidental thereto or not, for developing, receiving, storing, containing, confining, transforming, transmitting, transferring or controlling any form of energy;

  • Serious bodily injury means bodily injury which involves a substantial risk of death, extreme physical pain, protracted obvious disfigurement or protracted loss or impairment of the function of a bodily member, organ or mental faculty.
