Mandatory prison term means your sentence must be served in prison. It is defined under R.C. 2929.01(X). If you are serving a mandatory sentence it should be indicated on the first page of your “time and crime” under either paragraph 1 (firearm specifications) or paragraph 2 (other types of mandatory or actual incarceration sentences).
