Margin Requirement means the amount of money and/ or assets that the Client is required to deposit and/ or hold with the Firm as consideration for entering into a Transaction and/ or maintaining an Open Position on its Account;
Margin Regulations means Regulations T, U and X of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, as in effect from time to time.
Margin Ratio is the percentage of the value of the Collateral up to which the Customer is permitted to borrow (or otherwise to secure other forms of financial accommodation) from the Company against the Collateral.
Hedging Disruption means that the Issuer is unable, after using commercially reasonable efforts, to (A) acquire, establish, re-establish, substitute, maintain, unwind or dispose of any transaction(s) or asset(s) it deems necessary to hedge the risk of issuing and performing its obligations with respect to the Securities, or (B) realise, recover or remit the proceeds of any such transaction(s) or asset(s).
Margin Account means a segregated account in the name of a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, or a Clearing Member, or in the name of the Fund for the benefit of a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant, or Clearing Member, or otherwise, in accordance with an agreement between the Fund, the Custodian and a broker, dealer, futures commission merchant or a Clearing Member (a "Margin Account Agreement"), separate and distinct from the custody account, in which certain Securities and/or money of the Fund shall be deposited and withdrawn from time to time in connection with such transactions as the Fund may from time to time determine. Securities held in the Book-Entry System or the Depository shall be deemed to have been deposited in, or withdrawn from, a Margin Account upon the Custodian's effecting an appropriate entry in its books and records.
Margin Level means the percentage Equity to Necessary Margin ratio. It is calculated as (Equity / Necessary Margin) * 100%.
Treasury Transactions means any derivative transaction entered into in connection with protection against or benefit from fluctuation in any rate or price.
Margin Trading means Leverage trading when the Client may make Transactions having far less funds on the Trading Account in comparison with the Transaction Size.
Margin Call means the situation when the Company informs the Client to deposit additional Margin when the Client does not have enough Margin to open or maintain open positions.
Margin means 3 per cent. per annum;
Treasury Transaction means any derivative transaction entered into in connection with protection against or benefit from fluctuation in any rate or price.
Restricted Margin Stock means Margin Stock owned by the Borrower or any Subsidiary which represents not more than 33-1/3% of the aggregate value (determined in accordance with Regulation U), on a consolidated basis, of the property and assets of the Borrower and the Subsidiaries (other than any Margin Stock) that is subject to the provisions of Article 6 (including Section 6.02).
Margin Excess the meaning specified in Paragraph 4(b) hereof;
Unrestricted Margin Stock means any Margin Stock owned by the Borrower or any Subsidiary which is not Restricted Margin Stock.
Hedging Transaction of any Person shall mean (a) any transaction (including an agreement with respect to any such transaction) now existing or hereafter entered into by such Person that is a rate swap transaction, swap option, basis swap, forward rate transaction, commodity swap, commodity option, equity or equity index swap or option, bond option, interest rate option, foreign exchange transaction, cap transaction, floor transaction, collar transaction, currency swap transaction, cross-currency rate swap transaction, currency option, spot transaction, credit protection transaction, credit swap, credit default swap, credit default option, total return swap, credit spread transaction, repurchase transaction, reverse repurchase transaction, buy/sell-back transaction, securities lending transaction, or any other similar transaction (including any option with respect to any of these transactions) or any combination thereof, whether or not any such transaction is governed by or subject to any master agreement and (b) any and all transactions of any kind, and the related confirmations, which are subject to the terms and conditions of, or governed by, any form of master agreement published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc., any International Foreign Exchange Master Agreement, or any other master agreement (any such master agreement, together with any related schedules, a “Master Agreement”), including any such obligations or liabilities under any Master Agreement.
Banking Act means the UK Banking Act 2009, as amended.
Financial Bid means that part of the offer, that provides price schedule, total project costs etc.
Rate Management Transaction means any transaction (including an agreement with respect thereto) now existing or hereafter entered into between the Borrower and any Lender or Affiliate thereof which is a rate swap, basis swap, forward rate transaction, commodity swap, commodity option, equity or equity index swap, equity or equity index option, bond option, interest rate option, foreign exchange transaction, cap transaction, floor transaction, collar transaction, forward transaction, currency swap transaction, cross-currency rate swap transaction, currency option or any other similar transaction (including any option with respect to any of these transactions) or any combination thereof, whether linked to one or more interest rates, foreign currencies, commodity prices, equity prices or other financial measures.
Margin Stock shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Regulation U.
Credit Rating means, with respect to any entity, the rating then assigned to such entity’s unsecured, senior long-term debt obligations (not supported by third party credit enhancements) or if such entity does not have a rating for its senior unsecured long-term debt, then the rating then assigned to such entity as an issuer rating by S&P, Moody’s or any other rating agency agreed by the Parties as set forth in the Cover Sheet.
Short Term Loan means a loan transfer for a period of no fewer than 28 days in any one season.
Hedging Disruption Event means any event which, in the Issuer’s reasonable opinion, would make it illegal or commercially unfeasible for the Issuer to continue to hedge its obligations in relation to the Bond.
Margin Loan Provider means the Initial Margin Loan Provider, subject to replacement by a replacement Margin Loan Provider, and any of their respective successors.
Margin Deficit shall have the meaning assigned thereto in Section 6(a) hereof.
Hedging Transactions means any transactions or assets the Issuer or any of its affiliates (in the meaning of § 1 paragraph 7 German Banking Act (KWG), § 290 paragraph 2 German Commercial Law (HGB)) may have entered into or purchased in order to hedge the risk of entering into and performing its obligations with respect to the Certificates.
