Demand Suspension shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.6.
Shelf Suspension Period See Section 3(a) hereof.
Summary suspension means a suspension imposed without a formal hearing to ensure the safety and well-being of members of the college community.
Shelf Suspension shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.4.
Provisional Suspension means the Athlete or other Person is barred temporarily from participating in any Competition or activity prior to the final decision at a hearing conducted under Article 8;
Long-term suspension means the removal of a student from the school premises and regular classroom activities for more than ten (10) consecutive school days, or for more than ten (10) school days cumulatively for multiple disciplinary offenses in any school year. A Principal/Designee may, in his or her discretion, allow a student to serve a long-term suspension in school. Removal solely from participation in extracurricular activities or school-sponsored events, or both, shall not count as removal in calculating school days. Except for students who are charged with a disciplinary offense set forth in subsections (a) or (b) of G.L. c. 71, §37 H, or in section 37H ½ of G.L. c. 71, no student may be placed on long-term suspension for one or more disciplinary offenses for more than ninety (90) school days in a school year beginning with the first day that the student is removed from school. No long-term suspension shall extend beyond the end of the school year in which such suspension is imposed.
End of Suspension Notice has the meaning set forth in Section 1(f)(ii).
Short-term suspension means any disciplinary action whereby a student is not permitted to attend school for a period not to exceed ten school days.
Suspension Period shall have the meaning assigned thereto in Section 2(b).
Maximum Permissible Rate means, with respect to interest payable on any amount, the rate of interest on such amount that, if exceeded, could, under Applicable Law, result in (a) civil or criminal penalties being imposed on the payee or (b) the payee's being unable to enforce payment of (or, if collected, to retain) all or any part of such amount or the interest payable thereon.
Maximum Permissible Amount The lesser of (i) $30,000 (or, if greater, one-fourth of the defined benefit dollar limitation under Code Section 415(b)(1)(A)), or (ii) 25% of the Participant's Compensation for the Limitation Year. If there is a short Limitation Year because of a change in Limitation Year, the Advisory Committee will multiply the $30,000 (or adjusted) limitation by the following fraction: Number of months in the short Limitation Year --------------------------------------------- 12
Base Period means (i) the test period ending December 31, 2010 (or, if the Commission has elected to stagger its biennial reviews of utilities as provided in subdivision 1, the test period ending December 31, 2010, for a Phase I Utility, or December 31, 2011, for a Phase II Utility), or (ii) the most recent test period with respect to which credits have been applied to customers' bills under the provisions of this subdivision, whichever is later.
Suspension Date has the meaning set forth in Section 4.18(a).
extended reduction period means the period for which a person is in receipt of an extended reduction in accordance with paragraph 89, 96 or 101;
Minimum Takedown Threshold shall have the meaning given in Section 2.1.4.
Subscription Suspension Event means the delivery by the Issuer of a notice in writing to each Authorised Participant, the Issuing and Paying Agent and the Determination Agent pursuant to the LS Operating Procedures Agreement stating that with effect from the date specified in such notice subscription of the ETP Securities shall be so suspended.
Base Period Income Base Period Income" is an amount equal to Executive's "annualized includable compensation" for the "base period" as defined in Sections 280G(d)(1) and (2) of the Code and the regulations adopted thereunder. Generally, Executive's "annualized includable compensation" is the average of Executive's annual taxable income from Company for the "base period," which is the five calendar years prior to the year in which the Change of Control occurs. These concepts are complicated and technical and all of the rules set forth in the applicable regulations apply for purposes of this Agreement.
Initial Period means the period from (and including) the Issue Date to (but excluding) the First Call Date;
Total suspended solids means measure of all suspended solids in a liquid; typically expressed in mg/L.
Covenant Suspension Event has the meaning assigned to it in Section 3.22(b).
Maximum Face Amount means, with respect to any outstanding Letter of Credit, the face amount of such Letter of Credit including all automatic increases provided for in such Letter of Credit, whether or not any such automatic increase has become effective.
Applicable Measurement Period means the most recently completed four consecutive fiscal quarters of the Issuer immediately preceding the Applicable Calculation Date for which internal financial statements are available.
Blackout Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2(d)(ii).
Maximum mass means the maximum mass stated by the vehicle manufacturer to be technically permissible (this mass may be higher than the "permissible maximum mass" laid down by the national administration).
Elimination Period means the period of 6 months beginning on the date You become Disabled.
Payback Period means the reasonably estimated period of time that it takes for the cost savings resulting from a capital improvement to equal the total cost of the capital improvement. Landlord, by itself or through an affiliate, shall have the right to directly perform, provide and be compensated for any services under this Lease. If Landlord incurs Expenses for the Building or Property together with one or more other buildings or properties, whether pursuant to a reciprocal easement agreement, common area agreement or otherwise, the shared costs and expenses shall be equitably prorated and apportioned between the Building and Property and the other buildings or properties.
