Media Publication definition

Media Publication means a publication whether printed or electronic, and whether or not there are any charges, where no use rights are granted to end users other than to read and all reasonable technical measures are taken to prevent more than viewing (generally only applicable to electronic data), that is either a newspaper, or a current affairs publication issued at least three times a year, or an academic, literary, trade or technical journal whose primary purpose is the advancement of or criticism or review of the arts, science or technology and issued at least three times a year, or any factual documentary type programmes or materials for the purposes of educating the public generally, on media such as television, distributed disks, films, video on demand or online media.

  • To the extent not covered in this Agreement, the Parties will make all reasonable efforts to reach agreement concerning methods of publication for Internet Media Publication Notice, and the methods of publication used will be the same or similar as what was used in the prior notice program in this Action, subject to the above provision.

  • For the purposes of this Agreement Media Publication is generally defined as the display of Data to the general public via established newspaper, TV, radio or similar information services, excluding any service which allows interactivity and electronic processing of Real-time Data.

  • For the purposes of this Agreement, Media Publication is defined as any public display or reporting of Real Time or Delayed Information, via TV, radio, public internet (open user access), newspaper or other media or services, which does not qualify as Limited Extracts.

  • The Supplier reserves the right to determine whether any proposed form of publication qualifies as Media Publication.

  • The Stock Exchange reserves the right to determine whether any proposed form of publication qualifies as Media Publication, to withhold or withdraw a Media Publication licence at any time and to charge the Licensee any other Fees that may be applicable if any form of Real Time or Delayed Information Distribution is not accepted by the Stock Exchange as Media Publication.

  • The Licensee may not distribute Real Time or Delayed Information via Media Publication, or allow any Subscriber to do so, without the prior written permission of the Stock Exchange, which shall be subject to a separate agreement.

  • Distribution Fee applies per Distributor of Real-time, delayed and web- hosted Data for each Vendor/Subvendor that provides Market Data based on quote vending purposes in any service and in any form to a client who has signed a Subscriber Agreement and for each Media Publication and/or Index Calculation License approved by the Supplier, as applicable.

  • Client Publications means the general client publications of State Street Bank and Trust Company available from time to time to clients and their investment managers.
