Metropolitan culture district definition

Metropolitan culture district means a political subdivision of the states of Kansas and Missouri which is created under and pursuant to the provisions of this compact and which is composed of the counties in the states of Kansas and Missouri which act to create or to become a part of the district in accordance with the provisions of Article IV.

  • metropolitan municipality means a municipality that has exclusive executive and legislative authority in its area, and which is described in section 155 (1) of the Constitution as a category A municipality;

  • SDA district means an SDA district as defined in section 3 of P.L.2000, c.72 (C.18A:7G-3).

  • Residential district means an area of a municipality where 75% or more of the area is zoned for residential housing.

  • Special service district means the same as that term is defined in Section 17D-1-102.

  • Downtown area means the business area of a community that is centrally located within the community within the context of the Iowa main street program.

  • Residence district means the territory contiguous to a highway, not comprising a business district,

  • Region means the Control Areas and Transmission Facilities with respect to which a Party serves as RTO or Reliability Coordinator under NERC policies and procedures.

  • Resident district means the school district in which a student is entitled to attend school under section 3313.64 or 3313.65 of the Revised Code.

  • Regional District means the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.

  • Health and Human Services Commission or “HHSC” means the administrative agency established under Chapter 531, Texas Government Code, or its designee.

  • Resident school district means the public school district in which the student resides.

  • Public transit district means a public transit district organized under Title 17B, Chapter 2a, Part 8, Public Transit District Act.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Urban area means Maricopa and Pima counties, excluding Tribal Lands.

  • Historic district means an area, or group of areas not necessarily having contiguous boundaries, that contains 1 resource or a group of resources that are related by history, architecture, archaeology, engineering, or culture.

  • Rural area means any county with a population of fewer than twenty thousand individuals. "Small business concern," as used in this clause, means a concern, including its affiliates, that is

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Metropolitan planning organization means the same as that term is defined in Section 72-1-208.5.
