Money Bill definition

Money Bill means a Bill which contains only provisions dealing with all or any of the following matters:
Money Bill means a Bill that appropriates money or imposes taxes, levies or duties and to which Section 77 of the Constitution applies;

  • Prima facie, it appears to me that the words of article 110 (imposition, abolition, remission, alteration, regulation of any tax) are sufficiently wide to make the Consolidated Bill a Money Bill.
