Motor Vehicle Theft definition

Motor Vehicle Theft means the theft or attempted theft of a motor vehicle. (Classify as motor vehicle theft all cases where automobiles are taken by persons not having lawful access even though the vehicles are later abandoned – including joyriding.)
Motor Vehicle Theft means any unlawful seizure of a vehicle by an offender after having overcome barriers and mechanisms preventing entry into and driving of the vehicle by unauthorized persons.
Motor Vehicle Theft means an unlawful seizure of a vehicle by an offender by overcoming barriers and mechanisms preventing entry to and driving of the vehicle by unauthorized persons.
