Underinsured motor vehicle definition
Underinsured motor vehicle means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type to which a bodily injury liability bond or policy applies at the time of the accident but its limit for bodily injury liability is less than the limit of liability for this coverage.
Underinsured motor vehicle means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type to which one or more bodily injury liability bonds or policies apply at the time of the “accident”, but the sum of all applicable limits of liability for “bodily injury” under all such bonds and policies is less than the Limit of Liability as indicated on the “Declarations” for Underinsured Motorist Coverage Bodily Injury.
