Municipal Aggregation definition

Municipal Aggregation means a program by which the electrical load of interested electricity consumers who are not otherwise served by an existing nonprofit electric supplier or municipal electric utility is aggregated by a municipality or group of municipalities for the purpose of soliciting bids, brokering, and contracting for electric power and energy services for such customers and approved by the R.I.P.U.C. pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 39-3-1.2.
