National Settlement definition

National Settlement means the settlement of all Claims, interests, and controversies among PREPA, the Oversight Board, and National, the terms of which are set out in the National PSA.
National Settlement means the settlement reached in the National Action and memorialized by and through this document, the National Stipulation.
National Settlement has the meaning specified in Section IV.J of this Agreement.

  • The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta has overall responsibility for managing the Reserve Banks’ provision of check and ACH services to depository institutions, the FRBNY has overall responsibility for managing the Reserve Banks’ provision of Fedwire funds and securities services and National Settlement Service, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago has overall responsibility for managing the Reserve Banks’ provision of electronic access services to depository institutions.

  • The special master shall make one determination regarding payment of attorney fees to Counsel, which will apply through the term of the recovery from the National Settlement Agreements.

  • Counsel seeking payment from the Backstop Fund may also provide written submissions to the special master, which may include declarations from counsel, summaries relating to the factors described above, and/or attestation regarding total payments awarded or anticipated from the National Settlement Agreements’ Contingency Fee Fund.

  • However, to the extent required by the terms of the National Settlement Agreements, the proportions set forth in Exhibit B must be adjusted: (i) to provide no payment from the National Settlement Agreements to any listed county or municipality that does not participate in the National Settlement Agreements; and (ii) to provide a reduced payment from the National Settlement Agreements to any listed county or city that signs on to the National Settlement Agreements after the Initial Participation Date.

  • The Parties acknowledge that the National Settlement Agreements may provide for a portion of the attorney fees of Litigating Local Governments.

  • Final Settlement means permanent settlement of the Contractor’s actual allowable costs or expenditures as determined at the time of audit, which shall be completed within three years of the date the year-end cost settlement report was accepted for interim settlement by the State. If the audit is not completed within three years, the interim settlement shall be considered as the final settlement.

  • Final Settlement Date has the meaning set forth in Section 2.4(c).

  • ASX Settlement means ASX Settlement Pty Ltd (ABN 49 008 504 532);

  • Viatical settlement broker means a person, including a life insurance producer as provided for in section 508E.3, who, working exclusively on behalf of a viator and for a fee, commission, or other valuable consideration, offers or attempts to negotiate viatical settlement contracts between a viator and one or more viatical settlement providers or one or more viatical settlement brokers. Notwithstanding the manner in which the viatical settlement broker is compensated, a viatical settlement broker is deemed to represent only the viator, and not the insurer or the viatical settlement provider, and owes a fiduciary duty to the viator to act according to the viator’s instructions and in the best interest of the viator. “Viatical settlement broker” does not include an attorney, certified public accountant, or a financial planner accredited by a nationally recognized accreditation agency who is retained to represent the viator and whose compensation is not paid directly or indirectly by the viatical settlement provider or purchaser.

  • Cash Settlement Date means, for each Financially Settled Futures Transaction, the Business Day determined by Exchange from time to time in accordance with industry practice for such Transaction, as posted on Exchange’s Website not less than one month prior to the occurrence of such date, other than Invoices issued as a result of a Contracting Party’s Default or under the Close- out Procedure which amounts require payment immediately;

  • CCASS Settlement Day means the term “Settlement Day” as defined in the General Rules of CCASS.

  • Retail Settlement Code means the code approved by the Board and in effect at the relevant time, which, among other things, establishes a distributor’s obligations and responsibilities associated with financial settlement among retailers and customers and provides for tracking and facilitating customer transfers among competitive retailers;
